The ERA R10 is our top model (formally the R6) and is available as factory built road/race, full kit form, chassis only (build as you go) or rolling chassis. Over the years, the R6 then the R10 has had extensive testing and improvements made to it and has a great following, with its great handling and very good used prices (if you can find one) and many race wins and not forgetting its great style.
The R10 specification is very high. Mainly round tube chassis and is now available in De-Dion or independent rear suspension. It is fitted with the new Durapower 2L twin throttle body injected engine with Tiger alpha management, usually around 180bhp running through a 5 speed type 9 gearbox and ford rear differential LSD an on option.
Gear selection is through a “quick shift”. It has a full bespoke race alloy radiator and header tank, stopping the R10 is easy using the bespoke 4 pot alloy callipers front with single alloy callipers on rears. Fully adjustable suspension through bespoke Spax shocks and steering through a 2.5 turn quick rack.
Exhaust is fitted with the renowned R10 stainless exhaust system fully compliant on IVA emission levels. The 205 Toyo tyres supplied on the 15inch Alloys can be T1R or R888 customers choice. Bodywork in GRP with colour choices on main body and wings etc.
Trim is fitted with our bespoke seats which can be fixed (most do this) or adjustable and all have the sewn in ERA logos. Gauges are bespoke, these are Fuel – Temp – Oil pressure – RPM – MPH. The car is fitted with the stainless ‘trigger’ handbrake. Bespoke 4 point seats belts. Rear roll bar with stays standard and full MSA safety cage can be fitted (optional). The standard ERA comes with a 8 gallon fuel tank aero screen and full tonneau – windscreen wipers/washers are an option and full weather including foldable side screens is also available.
